I can’t say enough about how great Peter & Stephanie are and how perfect they are for each other. I met with them for the first time a few months ago at their apartment in Denver, in the company of their cat, Carrot, where we talked about their wedding over a glass of scotch. My first impression was, “this is awesome” and my second was the feeling that I had known Peter for my whole life. He is literally one of the kindest, big hearted, most welcoming persons I have ever met. Instant friend. At the same time, feeling like I already knew this person, I could instantly see how Stephanie was his absolute match. She has a charm and character about her that is extremely contagious and reminds me of when I was in high school theatre. She is as sweet as she is creative and could literally keep me laughing all day.
On their wedding day, it was genuinely like being in the company of good friends. The celebration was perfect. The venue at the Redstone Inn in Redstone, Colorado was beyond perfect. Their families and friends were just as kind and wonderful as they are and gave some of the hands down, best speeches I have ever heard. The love for these two was so strong it literally brought the whole room to tears. Including myself. When we stepped out for sunset portraits, it was one of the sweetest moments I have witnessed as a photographer, Peter holding Stephanie as she cried. Pure love.
Being able to watch their day unfold and capture all of these moments reminded me more and more about why I love being a wedding photographer and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you, Peter & Stephanie, for sharing your special day with me.
