Arrabelle Square Wedding | Vail, CO | Anna & Matt

I can honestly say that I’m always so happy with every wedding that I photograph. I’ve been so fortunate to make connections with all of my clients over the years, and it’s that connection and friendship that makes me care more than anything about documenting their one special day. More than just professionally, I personally in my heart want them to have photos that they will cherish forever. That couldn’t be more the case than with Anna & Matt.

I met them last year as they were making their initial wedding plans in Vail and their enthusiasm to work with me was beyond flattering. When we met for their engagement photos in the fall, I got to know them better and I remember saying it to myself then, “how do I get such great clients”?!? Matt & Anna are just flat out awesome people. They are both calm, kind, welcoming and caring people, easy to be around, comfortable with themselves, and love one another immensely. For a photographer, that is an amazing combination to work with, especially when they are both total model material haha.

Their wedding day is one that I will always remember. A perfect summer day with just the right amount of passing rain to keep the temperature down. Everything flowed extra smooth with the help of their awesome friends and family, and the ceremony at the Vail wedding deck was nothing short of stunning. We had just the right amount of cloud coverage for their portraits after the ceremony to make things extra perfect. When they were announced with their wedding party into the reception at the Arrabelle Square, they had the attention of countless onlookers as they all danced and goofed their way into the reception tent, it was hilarious. After some very touching moments throughout the toasting, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) danced like there was no tomorrow. It was a really fun time and I barely had enough room to navigate around as everyone celebrated on the dance floor. We finished the night with a bubble send off and some super fun sparkler/creative portraits at the very end.
