Sonnenalp Wedding | Vail, CO | Meagan & Blake

I love when it all comes together perfectly like Meagan & Blake’s wedding at the Sonnenalp in Vail, Colorado. The day before the wedding, we all met in the morning to go over the final wedding plans and walk through some of the locations in Vail. It was windy, cold and snowed on and off as we went to the top of the mountain to check out the location for their first look. I promised them that there was a beautiful mountain range somewhere behind all those dark clouds and we just had to keep our fingers crossed for the wedding day. They are the easiest going couple and shrugged off the weather concerns with “all that matters is that we’re together”. Well the difference a day can make is pretty extreme here in the mountains and we woke up to a warm, sunny and perfect spring day for their wedding.
